Making Magic, A Disappearing Block Sampler Quilt with Brita Nelson

Remember how fun Brita's presentation was at the February 1 MQ meeting? Watching simple blocks transform into fantastic designs?
This 6-hour workshop will be structured similar to a "sew along".
There are 9 blocks . Brita will teach each one in turn. She will demonstrate how to make the blocks along with little tips on accurate piecing and pressing. The students will follow along and take turns showing the class how their block came out. The Zoom features allow her to answer questions immediately and help anyone who might be having a little trouble. As some students finish before others, she will show other possible layouts and talk about things like how to enlarge the pattern, or use different colors and how these blocks might look in a finished quilt.
There are pre-class preparations required to make it possible to sew all the blocks during the class.
Cost: $70 for MQ members and $85 for nonmembers. There are no refunds for cancellations.

There will be homework to prep before class and you can see that in this supply list. Completing the prep means you can get through all the blocks in the class time.
