Kristie Naranjo of Studio Kristie presents a lecture and trunk show on Scrappy Applique™
Scrappy Appliqué™ is a fun & different appliqué technique where you collage your leftover scrap fabrics to create a one of a kind project. In this presentation, Kristie will share an overview of the Scrappy Appliqué™ process from start to finish and end with a trunk show of different examples of projects to inspire quilters to create their own.
Kristie is an international quilt teacher certified in teaching Scrappy Appliqué™ as well as Color Confidence for Quilters™. Kristie has been sewing since she was 8 years old but didn't start quilting until she was in her forties. Her sisters and mother are all teachers, so she combined her teaching DNA with her passion for quilting, and found her true love as a quilt teacher. Kristie lives in Orange County California with her husband and a very chatty cat named Pebbles.
