Makers: Blocks were pieced by MQ members (see photo of label on the back). The quilt was assembled by Pat Cox and quilted by Patty Von Arx. The project was coordinated by Pam Pryshepa Ronan.
Comments: Joanne, a founding member of MQ, led the "Blocks of the Month" program from July, 1991 to April, 2010. She wrote a column in the monthly newsletter that provided a pattern, colorway, and tips for making the blocks. Readers were encouraged to submit up to three blocks. For each submitted block, a name was thrown into the hat and a winner (sometimes two) was chosen in a drawing. This quilt honors Joanne's dedication to this popular MQ activity.
