Makers: Mary Hinz pieced the blocks and Pat Cox created the panel for the top border.
Techniques: machine piecing; hand applique, machine quilting, inked signature inscriptions; embroidered date inscription on top border: 1978 – 40 – 2018.
Comments: To mark the 40th anniversary of Minnesota Quilters, Inc., MQ members signed the white blocks at MQ monthly meetings and at MQ shows in 2017 and 2018. The blocks were pieced together and ruby red borders were added. The machine quilting in red thread appears as name tags surrounding each signature.
