Comments: This quilt commemorates the St. Paul Winter Carnival. It was made as an auction quilt by founding members of Minnesota Quilters, Inc., for its first national quilt show and conference held in St. Paul Jan 25-27, 1979. Won by Arlene Swanson, the quilt was donated back to MQ for its permanent collection by the family of Arlene after her death.
