Lori Adamietz presents a trunk show of Collage Applique
Having grown up on a farm in Minnesota, Lori learned everything that rural life had to offer, including sewing…garments to quilts and everything in between. Fast forward several decades, two daughters, five grandchildren, and over 33 years as a 911 Dispatcher/Supervisor, Lori retired.
Several years ago, she picked up a part time job at a local quilt shop. There she was tasked with making a store sample of a Laura Heine collage quilt…and so it began. A short time later, Lori was asked if she would teach a class on the collage process, since there were so many questions from customers. Fast forward to today, now living in Chaska, she continues to teach collage classes at quilt shops and quilt guilds in southern Minnesota, western Wisconsin and northern Iowa.
