Accordion Sewn HSTs™ - The Carpenter's Apprentice Zoom Workshop with Beth Helfter
If you haven’t tried the Accordion Sewn HSTs™ yet, it's time. It's incredibly fun and addicting, but it doesn’t just make cool little accordions: once you cut them apart, your quilts are halfway done! This workshop takes the Accordion Sewn HSTs™ technique and ups the ante just a bit as we sew all the HSTs need for The Carpenter's Apprentice pattern ALMOST at once, keeping it scrappy and with no waste. Once you've learned the technique and seen firsthand how it creates this pattern in no time, you'll want to adapt this HST sewing method to more quilts.
Beth is a quilt designer and instructor from Massachusetts who's been quilting for over 25 years and building a business since 2005, when she had twin two-year-olds and a need to create to stay sane.
Beth's work has been featured in Quilters World, The Quilter, Quiltmaker's 100 Blocks, Quilts From Quiltmakers 100 Blocks, and she was a member of the 2014 Quiltmaker "Scrap Squad." Her style tends toward the scrappy and her designs mirror her company tagline: Inspired Designs, Relaxed Attitude. She's authored two books as the creator of the Accordion Sewn HSTs™ method, a way to get way more bang for your scrappy buck when it comes to half square triangles!

Cost for the workshop is $70 for MQ members and $85 for nonmembers.
